Kantharos D.O.C. Trebbiano del Molise (white)
Kantharos, a Trebbiano DOC wines from Molise.
It is named after a mosaic discovered in the Roman Villas of Larino depicting a wine amphora, or Kantharos in Greek.
Kantharos is made exclusively with Trebbiano grapes.
After a pre-fermentation maceration period of eight hours at 8°, the must is then fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15°.
It is bright straw yellow in colour with gold highlights and displays a superb exotic fruit bouquet of pineapples and mangos.
Smooth in the mouth, with a pleasant weight on the tongue, its palate lives up to the expectations of the nose.
Beautifully lively, displaying a natural acidic freshness and lingering finish.
